We start our second IB unit this week. It is titled "Where We Are in Place and Time." We will discuss and research migration patterns, exploration, and how technology has made a difference in our lives.
We didn't get to start our literature circles last week because of lack of time, but we will start them Tuesday. We will also complete four literacy stations, and Chess is back starting Friday!
Tomorrow(9/26) is our parent meeting for the Project American Life field trip scheduled for 4/17-4/20. It starts at 6 in the gym.
PTA Literacy Night is Tues., Oct. 4th. Please join us to find out what literacy looks like in 5th grade at the Magic School.
I almost forgot the Prezis! As soon as we get everything ready to set up the e-mail accounts, we'll get started on those projects.
